Emmy grew up in Somerset where she recalls as a child, putting wooden building blocks in to her socks to create instant high heels. Following her degree at the prestigious Cordwainers College, Emmy worked for five years in Italy for some of the top names in accessories including Bottega Veneta and Giorgio Armani. Their craftsmanship and accuracy of their their work has continued to inspire Emmy. On her return to the UK Emmy set her sights high on her own luxury brand. As her friends started getting married , Emmy spotted a gap in the market for stunning, graceful and feminine bridal shoes and brought her unique creative vision to the luxury wedding market.
UK based shoe designer Emmy London is delighted to unveil the Cancello collection. It is a celebration of geometric repetition, inspired by the intricate detailing intertwined in the Italian gates. Lattice straps add a new dimension to the collection whilst the introduction of a super high mule, ivory Pom Pom boot and a fresh twist on the wedge gives a fashion forward look -ideal for modern brides-to-be.
